Perhaps because Manchesters are a rare breed, relatively few tend to end up at shelters or in situations requiring rescue. When dogs are available for placement, they will be featured on this page and we encourage those interested in rescue to also visit the American Manchester Terrier Club's Rescue page.

Romeo - Quebec

Sweet little Romeo is a 6 1/2 year old Toy Manchester Terrier full of love and affection. He adores being with people, whether snuggling on the couch or sitting on your lap. Playful and active, Romeo loves running, playing, and chasing toys. Engaged and always eager for interaction, he thrives on attention and companionship.
Romeo is a loving companion but has some issues that need work, probably due to a lack of proper training in his early years. His housetraining is still a work in progress, especially in the cold winter months. Romeo can also be vocal when left alone or when visitors are present. He is not suited for a home with cats, as he has a strong instinct to chase them.
