Judge's Comments
Thank you for asking me to be part of the Virtual National, it was a pleasure to watch the videos and seeing Manchesters Terriers offering behaviors and having fun. It was enjoyable to see the variety of tricks through the different levels, some used props and others not, some required confidence and body awareness (balancing, foot placement) others required impulse control (stay, not grabbing food) while others required focus as some tricks actually were multiple behaviours for one trick and others required nose work.
Judging tricks comes with challenges, as I wanted to give everyone 1st place for spending the time to bond with their dog, figure out how they learn, thinking outside the box to overcome any hurdles if needed to teach different behaviors/tricks. I especially loved seeing the young girl with her dog in a couple of levels. Great job everyone.
